How do online IELTS classes and training in Hyderabad work?

You join live Google Meet sessions from home in Kukatpally, Madhapur or Dilsukhnagar. The first session is a diagnostic mock, which tells us which skill holds your band back. After that, lessons concentrate on that skill. Each essay is marked against the band descriptors and each speaking answer is corrected as you give it. You book the test when the mocks are where they need to be.

  • Same trainer every session, not a rotating faculty
  • Writing tasks marked with comments you can apply next time
  • Speaking practice in the three-part interview format
  • A full timed mock before you spend ₹19,000

Best IELTS coaching in Hyderabad: online or offline?

Neither format is automatically better. Offline coaching suits learners who need a fixed timetable and live close by. Online suits anyone who wants a specialist trainer and more marked work without the commute. Judge any option on three things: who marks your writing, whether speaking is corrected live, and whether you are told honestly when you are ready.

IELTS coaching in Ameerpet: what to check with consultancies

Ameerpet is Hyderabad's best-known coaching district, and a number of institutes there are study-abroad consultancies that bundle IELTS classes with admissions help. That can be convenient, but it mixes two decisions. Choose your IELTS coaching on the quality of feedback, and choose your consultancy on admissions results. They do not have to be the same company.

If a consultancy offers 'free IELTS coaching' with an application package, ask how many essays will be marked and by whom before you sign.

IELTS coaching in Dilsukhnagar and Kukatpally

Dilsukhnagar and Kukatpally are the other areas where Hyderabad learners search most for IELTS coaching. Learners in either can join the same live online classes. For the exam, Kukatpally is well placed: IDP runs a computer venue in Vivek Nagar, and the Begumpet venue serves central Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Where are the IELTS exam centres in Hyderabad?

IDP runs computer-based IELTS, including IELTS for UKVI, at two Hyderabad venues: Gowra Trinity on SP Road, Begumpet, and Vijay Sai Towers in Vivek Nagar, Kukatpally. Two further venues list paper tests: The Platinum on Liberty Road, Himayatnagar, and Fortune School of Business in Kukatpally. Fees are ₹19,000, or ₹19,250 for UKVI.

Paper tests are being phased out

In March 2026 IELTS announced that paper-based tests will end from mid-2026, with timing set market by market, and that IELTS for UKVI is computer-only. ielts.org still lists the Hyderabad paper dates as of 7 October 2026, including UKVI on paper at Fortune School of Business, so confirm with IDP before planning a paper test.

Which IELTS do Hyderabad learners need?

For a master's degree in the US, UK, Canada or Australia, book IELTS Academic and check each university's minimum on its programme page. For Canada PR, book General Training. For a UK work visa, book IELTS for UKVI, which needs 5.5 in each skill for B2. Spouse visa applicants need an A1 speaking and listening test instead.

IELTS exam dates in Hyderabad (2026)

IDP lists Hyderabad dates on its booking site and refreshes them weekly. With computer venues in both Begumpet and Kukatpally, you usually have several sessions to choose from. Plan backwards from your university's application deadline: allow for results, and keep space for one retake if a single skill falls short.

How to keep talking for two minutes in Speaking Part 2

Speaking Part 2 asks you to talk for up to two minutes on a cue card after one minute of preparation. Running out of things to say well before two minutes usually happens when you describe the topic in general terms. Answers that tell a specific story, with a time, a place and what happened, fill two minutes naturally and score better on fluency and vocabulary.

  1. 1

    Pick one real example

Not 'festivals in India' but one Sankranti at your grandparents' house.

  2. 2

    Note four prompts, not sentences

When, where, who, what happened. Your one minute is for keywords.

  3. 3

Add a feeling and a result

How it felt, and why you still remember it.

  4. 4

    Practise with a timer

Two minutes feels long until you have done it twenty times.

What happens in the free 20-minute consultation?

It is a short video call with Sahil. You share your target band, deadline and destination, then answer a few speaking questions. He tells you what band you are likely at now, how many weeks to plan, and which IELTS version to book. If you would rather study on your own after that, that is fine.

  1. 1

    Book a time

Pick a slot around college or work.

  2. 2

    Speak for a few minutes

A short sample, like Part 1 of the test.

  3. 3

    Leave with a plan

Weeks needed, the right test and a venue near you.

  4. 4

    Join only if it fits

A secure payment link comes by email and you book your first class.
