Who is Sahil Sayed?
Sahil Sayed is a CELTA-certified IELTS trainer who has been teaching English language exams since 2015. Based in London, UK, Sahil has helped students across India, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond achieve their required band scores for UK visas, Canadian PR, university admissions, and professional registration.
Sahil started teaching IELTS as an independent tutor in Mumbai in 2015. Having been an IELTS candidate himself, he understood what was at stake — not just for applicants, but for entire families whose futures depended on a single band score.
In 2019, he earned his CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge. That qualification changed everything. Rather than coaching students to pass on a good day, he learned how adults actually acquire language — and began applying that science to IELTS teaching.
From 2021 to 2023, Sahil taught ESOL in Manchester, working with adult learners from Somalia, Syria, Poland, Iraq, and beyond. That experience sharpened his ability to explain English concepts across wildly different linguistic backgrounds — a skill that directly benefits his IELTS students today.
In 2020, he founded IELTS Training Camp from London — an independent coaching service built on one belief: that small classes, honest feedback, and real teaching produce better results than any template or trick.
