Where is the official IELTS test centre in Surat?

Paper tests are being phased out
In March 2026 IELTS announced that paper-based tests will end from mid-2026, with timing set market by market, and that IELTS for UKVI is computer-only. ielts.org still lists the Surat paper dates as of 8 October 2026, so confirm with IDP before planning a paper test.
IELTS classes in Vesu, Adajan and Varachha
Vesu, Adajan and Varachha are the Surat areas that come up most in IELTS class searches. Classes are online, so the area only matters on test day. Vesu and Piplod are closest to IDP on Dumas Road. From Adajan, Varachha or Katargam, allow extra travel time on exam morning, because you must arrive before the doors close.
Which IELTS should Surat learners book?
Book IELTS Academic for a degree abroad, and check each university's minimum. Book General Training for Canada PR, where CLB 7 means 6.0 in each skill. How to plan a Writing Task 2 essay in five minutes
A common reason Task 2 essays stall around band 6 is that they were never planned: the writer starts typing and the argument drifts. Five minutes of planning is enough to fix that. Decide your answer to the exact question first, then choose two reasons you can support with a specific example each. The essay then almost writes itself, and it stays on topic for Task Response.
